WebFOCUS Infographics allow you to present ideas and metrics in a compelling visual format, using images to share information and convey complex concepts. Paired with the power and reporting capabilities of WebFOCUS, infographics become a powerful tool that lets you present your visuals with data from your corporate sources, and adopt key elements that are specific to different audiences.
Start building your infographic in the WebFOCUS Infographic Creation Tool, a web-based platform that features thousands of customizable infographic templates and design objects. As you create your infographic image, different objects can be tagged to be replaced with your data. The infographic can then be uploaded into the Home Page and used to create a new infographic procedure that places the data elements in the designated locations. The infographic procedure is a specialized InfoAssist document, in which each of the tagged objects becomes a data component in a compound document. InfoAssist provides specially designed functionality that allows you to easily fill each of these data components and generate data-driven infographic images. An example of a completed WebFOCUS Infographic is shown in the following image.
You can make your newly created WebFOCUS Infographic available to other users by publishing it in your repository, sharing it with specific users and groups, or by distributing it using WebFOCUS ReportCaster. You can also distribute it using the Burst option, which enables you to personalize sections of your infographic image to different members of your target audience.
To access the WebFOCUS Infographic Creation Tool, on the WebFOCUS Home Page, from the Administrator menu, under Tools, click the WebFOCUS Infographics option.
